Internships
The Walt Disney Studios summer internship program gives students from diverse backgrounds the chance to gain hands-on experience in the entertainment industry. Working beside other students from across the country, you'll gain exposure to senior level management, challenging projects, learning and development opportunities, employee perks and more.
To qualify for this extraordinary opportunity, you must be:
- An undergraduate or graduate student currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution
- Returning to school in the fall at the time of application
- Completing your sophomore or junior year as an undergraduate, or
- Completing your first year as an MBA student, or
- Completing your first or second year in another 3-year graduate program (e.g., law school, etc.)
- Available full-time for a period of 12 weeks
- Able to provide your own housing and transportation
- Positions located in Burbank and Glendale, CA and/or New York, NY
Summer openings may be available in the following departments: Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Marketing, Music, Operations, Production, and Technology.
Opportunities are available for students of:

Recent Graduates: Associate Development Program
The Walt Disney Studios (TWDS) Associate Development Program (ADP) is a one-year rotation program for recent graduates who participated in the Summer Internship Program. Following graduation, ADP associates join The Walt Disney Studios for rotations in different lines of business.
While in the program, associates are provided with accelerated development through exposure to different parts of the business, senior business leaders, a senior-level executive mentor, and customized development opportunities. Toward the end of the program, associates are aligned with a dedicated studio recruiter to support them in finding full-time employment, although a position is not guaranteed.
To qualify for the Associate Development Program:
- The individual must have participated in the Summer Internship Program and be set for graduation the following spring
- Undergraduate and graduate students are eligible
